Town Administrator

The Town Administrator is hired by the Norwood Town Council to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Town. Bryan Bowles became Norwood's Town Administrator in July 2015.  Bryan also serves as the Town's ORC at its Wastewater Treatment Plant, and has worked for the Town of Norwood for eleven years.


Town Clerk/Finance Officer

The Norwood Town Clerk assists the Town Administrator with the day-to-day operations of the Town. Virgil Hinson has served as Norwood's Town Clerk since 2012. The Town Clerk plays a very important role in the administration of the Town that is governed by North Carolina General Statutes.

Virgil Hinson also serves as the Town's Finance Officer, which is another role that is governed by North Carolina General Statutes. As Finance Officer, Mr. Hinson is responsible for the Town's financial records and funds.


Assistant Town Clerk

The Assistant Town Clerk is hired to assist the Town Clerk and Town Administrator in all duties specified by the State and Town Council. Norwood's Assistant Clerk is responsible for utility billing, accounts payable, payroll, and other duties as given by the Town Clerk and Town Administrator. Kelly Caudle has served as the Assistant Clerk since 2013.

Administrative staff are available at the Norwood Town Hall Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. They are here to help you with any questions or concerns regarding Norwood town services, including water, sewer, and solid waste disposal.
