Norwood has a non-partisan elected town council of five commissioners and a mayor. Commissioners serve four-year terms and are elected in a staggered cycle - three commissioners are elected for a term, then two plus the mayor being elected. Elections are held every odd year. Council meetings are held the first Monday of each month at Town Hall, 112 South Main St. at 7 p.m. Meetings are open to the public. Other meetings may be called during the month with a 48-hour notice.
