The Planning and Zoning Board recommends zoning of property within the town limits and within the extra territorial area one mile beyond the town limits. The board reviews plans submitted by developers or planners to be sure they follow the ordinances set by the town commissioners. The board recommends zoning proposals to the town council, which makes final decisions on ordinances or variations of zoning rules.
